« what do you think? » and if the kid said yes, then the parent’s said « that’s your ewsnar », and if they said that no, they didn’t believe, the parents then took the kid aside, out of earshot of younger siblings, and then told about the historical roots of Santa, why we do it, emphasizing that it’s a way to give in secret (kind of how Christ wanted people to do it) and that it’s kind of also a way for parents to not take credit for all the presents, etc. Then what they would do, is Christmas Eve night, the child who just found out the truth would get a chance to sneak back out of bed later and help distribute the presents to everyone else, so they got to see the fun of it, and they also had to promise not to tell anyone who didn’t already know. I thought it was a great way to let the kids know when they were ready, and to also let them see the fun of it.I think kids lose their innocence too quickly these days, and I love the magical-ness of it all. I DO NOT think that telling your kids about Santa causes them to not believe in God (I believe in God, have gone to church my whole life, etc, and the Santa thing has not caused me to question anything). Kids can tell the difference between the spiritual and the secular, and they can know the true meaning of Christmas as well as the fun non-religious parts of it as well. My own parents never really had a talk about Santa – I was in 1st grade when I found out about the Tooth Fairy, but my mom did say that when you don’t believe, then Santa no longer brings you anything -so we always bought into it every year to keep getting stuff – though as we got older it wasn’t presents anymore, just candy in the stocking.

Les étapes de notre vie dictent nos besoins. Les possibilités de ciblage publicitaire deviendra encore plus grande par Facebook.

Espérons seulement que toutes ces informations, surtout celles non publiées, seront aussi accessible par nos gouvernements et non seulement aux grandes corporations.

Débats sur la mise à jour de la loi sur la protection de la vie privée (données nominales) à prévoir. À quand une régie de surveillance des réseaux sociaux au Québec ?

Tu m’as fait rire. Effectivement, je me vois en train de bousculer mon clavier et ma souris, attraper mes écouteurs dans une pluie de papiers qui volent pour répondre un « allo » Skype, tout inquiet que la personne est raccrochée lolll XD
Skype over. En fait, jamais été un gros fan de Gates. Content d’aller essayer autre chose.

Salut,

ça fait 1 an que je n’ai plus de ligne dur de téléphone. j’utilise Google Voice pour tout mes appels d’Amérique gratuitement, même internationaux, car ça coûte des peanuts. (Ma conjointe est originaire d’Angleterre). Et j’utilise mon cellulaire avec un plan qui fait que lorsque l’on reçoit un appel, ça ne coûte rien et appels illimités soir et weekend. Je n’ai pas payé un longue distance en 1 an, je n’utilise pas mes minutes de jours, et je ne paye pas de plans de longue distance! Le tout pour 40$ par mois taxes incluses. Je n’ai pas encore de téléphone intelligent ni d’applications spéciales, est-ce que je pourrait encore baisse le tout? Probablement. Avec Google Voice, les gens que j’appels ne voient pratiquement pas la différence comparé avec mes appels sur cellulaire. j’utilise presque tous les produits bureautique de Google, et j’ai commencé Google+ dernièrement. Juste le fait de pouvoir corriger des erreurs dans les « Post » et de mieux contrôler les groupes de gens qui voient les « Post », ça m’a vendu. Facebook n’a rien de comparatif qui est aussi intuitif que G+. On arrive au même résultat, mais avec beaucoup d’efforts. Skype, jamais été un fan, Google Voice, tu n’a rien à installer, c’est ce qui le rend si génial. Pour le moment, je ne veux pas recevoir les appel à mon ordi, car je n’aime pas avoir à tout préparer le « headset », screen saver. passwords etc… pour finalement répondre après plusieurs sonneries. Je préfère mon Cellulaire.
